Ran Xu is a former US foreign service officer turned curator and artist. They have been based in Asia for the past 15 years, spending nine of them in Shanghai, their hometown, and the rest in Korea and Singapore. They have a strong interest in visual media from both China and the "West" and most of their work centers around the space where the two intersect and intermingle.
